Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

EDIT 2: I also think the drains might be plugged but I don't have time to check those because I am having people over.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

When I tried to start the wonderful p-car today there was something goin on with the electronics and it wouldnt start. When I turned the key the electronics would flicker and something would tick in the engine compartment. I turned the key to accessory and it said the rollbar and airbags had malfunctioned. Can someone please help me. The car is a 02 C2 Cabriolet. EDIT: When I close the doors the windows start going up and down rapidly like they do when you open the door. I'm thinking that either the battery is dead or that the electrical system is fried. EDIT 2: I also think the drains might be plugged but I don't have time to check those because I am having people over.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Would the battery cause all of those malfunctions?

POST 4Original post

pull the battery, bring to Autozone or such, have it tested. They'll probably declare it dead; sounds like the kind of eratic behaviour you get when your battery commits suicide.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

You guys are great because I was having a meltdown and was about to go apes**t if I couldnt figure this out

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I haven't had time since I had to go somewhere and now I have company over. I didn't have time to take the battery out and take it somewhere. Living where I do if you have to go anywhere it is going to take you at least 40 mins.
