Hi guys, I need to pick up a cover for my 996 as I only have space for the motorcycles or the porsche in the garage during the summer and im taking the bikes out of storage. What covers do you recommend? Thanks AC

no cover. Those things can do more harm than good. The car has to be absolutely clean (white glove test) before the cover goes on. Otherwise you will soil the inside of the cover and then its like sand paper. Use a good wax and sealant and your car will ressist nearly all the UV damage. I recommend using anti-static sprays like FK1 425 ( finishcareusa.com ), dirt will roll off with a quick low pressure rinse or wiped down and use a sun visor on your windshield.

Good points and I agree - I have a black car - I used a cover for a while but won't put it on any more. Talk about expediting spider webbing in the finish!!! If I had a lighter color, I wouldn't worry about it too much, but if your car is dark, I would try to avoid it...
