Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Leading evidence: 'Check with him' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Check with him' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Here is a hodge podge.
OEM side skirts (2000my vintage) and a MKIII style GT3 front bumper. Not OEM as this style was never made for the pre-facelift. I like it even though the lines are not quite perfect,
RB
Rb,
Where did you get the bumper, and if you don't mind, about how much did it set you back? Is it poly or fiberglass?. I love the look of this bumper on the pre-facelift car because in my opinion, it cures the only real design aspect of the pre-02 cars that I was never really fond of, namely, the shark-nose front end. I love the way this bumper squares off the front.
I never like green cars--but this is exceptional looking! That tan/beige leather looks great with it! And the side skirts and front mod look awesome! I don't see any lines that don't look OEM? I totally agree with Scott - the bumper makes the car look much better - I agree the stock 99-01 bumpers look kinda plain.
I concur that the green looks really good. Always have loved the unique colors. But I have to say that facelift looking front bumper does NOT look right on the prefacelift car. The 99-01 cars had more curve and soft lines as evidence by your MkI side skirts and the 02+ cars had more hard lines as evidence by your aftermarket front and the MkII sides that comes on the 02+ cars. I am NOT saying that it looks bad but rather that it just doesn't look right.
Dell,
That sums up my comment on the lines pretty well. The side skirts on the prefacelift are much softer and flowing vs. the ones on Steven C.'s car. All in all though, my darker car hides the differences pretty well. I will try to grab a side view shot that would make the differences more evident. My oem front bumper had some slight damage and that drove me to look for something different as the stock was not cutting it aesthetically, considering the car already had the side skirts.
RB
rbj....totally understand. Just saying that I think especially from that angle you posted the lines don't work as well. If you did the 02+ facelift then that would have been optimal. Or of course, the MkI bumper that the car begs for. Again, not bad, just don't think it works totally from that angle.
That is the OEM Carrera spoiler for the Coupe and the Cab. I found it from MSRoadRace on EBay for quite a deal brand new in the box. You might check with him to see if he has one now.
Domenic: don't put the spoiler on without the rest of the aerokit (aerodynamic reasons).
As for styling..GT2 rear wing and GT2 front for me. pics are in my signature link.
queencitycarrera4: that's a crazy lookign color...got any high res pics?

Does that look any better? I think I am losing res as I shrink the photos. They are starting as high-res.
nice "Factory Taco Package" LOL Ive heard of Taco wing but never the taco package. Funny Porsche didnt call it that in their literature. Why aero when you can call it taco??? why porsche?
great looking car, not a fan of the chrome sport design wheels though. Gorgeous non the less
Green was Ferry Porsche's favorite color and he owned almost only green Porsche. One of them was the famous 928 4-seater prototype from 1984 that he got at his 75th birthday as a gift. The car never went into production but some people say it's the real predecessor of the Panamera.
Fiberglass is a crap shot with these aftermarket folks.
Chances are it will be a bear to fit, then need other expensive prep work because it wasn't finished right, then it will look good for 6 months and then the fibers will show through the crappy gel coat, then you will hate it.
Stick with factory or aftermarket polyurathane.
