we built a knock off of a Frank Lloyd Wright who made great use of the carport style so it is integral to the design.

Looks good! BTW, what size winter tires are you running on the rear of the C4S? I have a set of TT hollow spokes for summer use and the original turbo twists for winter (18 x 11). The widest winters they seem to make are 265/35 ZR 18...is that what you run too?

They have 295/35VR18 Pirelli winter 240 snowsports, but I don't recommend it. Go with the 265. The more narrow the better they are for winter snow and ice.

i have a pair of PorscheTurbo Twists which are 10 inches wide for the winter tire. i have to check the size as i don't remember. they work well in the snow but i don't drive in the real crap stuff of winter. they were great on hard pack.

Steve - the carport is fantastic in the winter. we built a knock off of a Frank Lloyd Wright who made great use of the carport style so it is integral to the design. what amazed me was the lack of drift and that the vehicles still had unfrosted windows on even the coldest of mornings. i just wish i had done a 3 car carport! no snow in that photo - just washed out colour.
