Hello everyone, I recently had a friend offer to sell me his 1999 996 cab for 30k. Here are the specs, you guys let me know what you think. 1999 996 cab 6-speed 52k miles White on black Basic options. Interior does not look very good.....needs work. (Steering wheel, seats, shifter,etc.) Outside paint has some scuffs but no major damage. It has a new clutch. Rotors look very rusted....don't know if that is normal on a 1999. Also, does anyone know if the headlights and taillights can be replaced with 2003 996 lights...(Don't look yellow and old.) The way I look at it, this car needs about 3-5k in repairs to look pretty good. Worth it or not??? Thanks in advance.

30K for 52K miles..... I paid 42 a year ago for a nice looking, but spend about 15K in upgrades..including the 02 turbo litronix and bumper.....I would look for a nicer one...and pay a little more.....or about the same from a private party...A year ago I could have bought a super clean one for 34 from a private party...but it wasn't the color I wanted...
