Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

So, looks like London for me. Does anyone know the rules, regulations and most importantly $$ for taking a US spec car to the UK? Any help is appreciated. Need to figure if it is worth taking my '99 C2.
I've gone through 6 international moves, so I've got some experience in this area.
You have a couple of options :
1] Sell the car. That's what I would do in case I would be transferred to London. You will only use public transport (I assume you will work downtown). London has all kinds of regulations & taxes to keep cars out of the city.
2] If it's a really unique car, you can have your company pay for storing it in the US (there are companies who specialize in that).
3] Ship it to the UK, keep it on US plates (provided you still have a US residence, so you can get US insurance). If the assignment is only 2 years long, and you have a garaga to keep it out of cop's view while you do not use it, you will be able to get away with it. Ship it back to the US at the end of your assignment. That's what I will do next year when I go on my tour of duty in Basel (CH). But then I will have the Black Forest and the Alps to cruise it in the weekend
4]Import it into the UK. If you've owned & insured it for more than 6 months abroad, you can import it into any EU country without paying VAT (20%) and import taxes (different per country). But then you still need to pass a local homologation test. That's when bureaucracy kicks in. You know, undereducated goverment edmloyees with a lot of discretionary power...bad combination.
Thanks for the ideas. Seems that if I sell it, I can't get back into the P car easily. Thinking maybe getting it to Castle Combe, Silverstone, Brands, Goodwood, maybe onto the father land. Who knows about the dreaded government functionaries?
International Sports Car Association law mandates that you donate your car to me. You can write off 2x the value of the donation on your taxes. Really!
