Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. I noticed my car is missing the silver trim piece. I really dont wanna drop $500 on the whole shifter assembly. I just need the bezel. Anyone have an idea where I can find one? TIA.
I don't know if it's dependent on year but my '99 didn't come with a bezel.
Stock shifter in my car:
And the aftermarket one I installed that
does
have a bezel.:
The shift **** and gaiter were from a Ebay guy in Germany. The exchange rate has changed and it's $16.00 cheaper than when I bought mine in April of 2017.

I agree! You have some nice tasteful upgrades inside this car. I like the upgraded steering wheel better than the old one and it matches the console and other flat black trim. Nicely done!
My 04 C4S did not have the trim ring from the factory. I didnt care for the shift **** so i ordered a new one from ICT in germany. Very affordable and high quality.

Thanks for all the positive comments. As I mentioned in
my upgrade/mod thread
, one of my goals was to break up the sea of gray in the interior without doing anything that wasn't reversible in case I wanted to return it to original. Since that picture was taken, I added the brushed aluminum gauge rings that I heard about here. I think they tie in nicely with the shifter bezel.
They're Coco Mats that came with the car along with a set of factory gray ones. I'm a big fan of Coco Mats and have them in three other cars. I guess you could say I'm
Cuckoo for Coco Mats
