Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I'm not really concerned with the RMS, since the car will be new or slightly used (warunteed) with a PPI and thorough evaluation by me and my Porsche mechanic, but are there any other things I should look for when purchasing one?
Leading evidence: 'Use (warunteed)' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Use (warunteed)' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hello,
Recently my father decided he's going to sell me his cars if I can find him a good C4s to purchase. I was inspired by member "Mark C." whom I actually met once at a Boston Audi Group meeting. Anyway, he convinced me that it's possible for my dad to drive the C4s in the snow and not kill himself.
Questions:
I found a brand new C4s in Lapis Blue, but I can't find one local to see the color. Has anyone seen this color or better yet, has a picture?
Does the C4s need new wheels for snows? Do people make snows for the stock tire size of one of these beasts?
I'm not really concerned with the RMS, since the car will be new or slightly used (warunteed) with a PPI and thorough evaluation by me and my Porsche mechanic, but are there any other things I should look for when purchasing one?
Any other advice? Anyone know of a good C4s for sale? (I live in Boston)
Thanks for all the advice I learned from browsing here and I hope to own his car in a few years!
Cheers,
Toddm
Lapis blue is a great color. I have a friend in Wisconsin who drives a C4S and the first thing he did was add snow tires. I would recommend you do the same. Better handling and it will help keep the other rims in goo shape.
Good luck
There is a 03 one for sale here in Denver. Has techno wheels and only 4k miles.
Let me know if you are interested and I can find out more about it for you.
Thanks for all the responses.
I might stop by up at Ira to check out the black one, although I'm the only person in my family that has the patience to keep a black car clean! hahahaha!
I definitely want to see a Lapis car though. I have bought 2 cars from Ira already, so I'm sure I'll be up there sometime soon!
What do you think is a fair discount for a NEW 2003? I was thinking at least 15% off sticker. The car is 2 years old already!
Anyway, thanks for the advice and help. Oh, yeah I am going to try and search around the boston/east coast first, then move west if I have to, but thanks for the offer on the Denver car!
Cheers,
ToddM
I've got a lapis blue C4 cab and love it. I get tons of compliments on the color. It is somewhat high maintenence - not as hard as black, but not as easy as silver either. Click the link in my sig for lots of pics.
My cab appears different colors dependent on the amount of ambient light from purplle/blue to blue/black....i love it!
This is a pic outside vegas on a little bit of an overcast day
Try here and specify lapis blue, you'll find lots of pictures, not necessarily of C4S, but it should help with the color
