Over the past 6 months I have noticed that on my headlamp this kind of 'spider' pattern emerging inside the headlamp. I took it to Porsche and they say its common. Slight water ingress. I have an official Porsche warranty 'aftermarket' from Porsche themselves. I read the warranty book and it specifies that water ingress IS covered. Does this include water ingress in the headlamp unit? They say it does not??? There are no visable cracks or chips on the headlamp unit either. The picture is below. It shows up more clearly depending on humidity.

I had this happen to my rear lens... my dealer replaced the entire lens, I signed something and was on my way in 10 min. I would assume if warranty covers the rear lenses it would cover the front?

Ask your dealer to review Porsche TSB 7/02 9415 "Headlight Ventilation" dated 11-18-02 AND/OR TSB 4/01 9415 "Headlight Ventilation" dated 4-6-2001. They both cover the causes and fixes for this.
