Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suspected cause
probably a tipper, not that there's anything wrong with that.
Leading evidence: 'tipper, not' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'tipper, not' (1 discussions; 0 report identifying it and 1 suggest it). The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace back again later' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

I feel it only fair to warn you that long before they hit 16, children change from "I worship the ground you walk on and want to be just like you" to "You are incredibly lame and I actively hate your guts"

I thought about the whole process too but if you add up the costs and factor in the resale on a colour changed Porsche I'm not sure where you'd end up.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

My 7 year daughter told me she wants me to buy her a car like my black car when she turns 16. Should would pick the most expensive one and dangerous one.
what makes it dangerous. if you're talking about the tt, she'll be able to brake better, get out of the way better, develop pride in driving skills, avoid better, and if in a collision survive better than almost any car on earth. sounds the opposite of dangerous to me.
Not to worry, Doug. I feel it only fair to warn you that long before they hit 16, children change from "I worship the ground you walk on and want to be just like you" to "You are incredibly lame and I actively hate your guts"
I'm told that they change back again later. We can only hope.......
I guess I'm lucky - my 14 year old boy has absolutely NO interest in cars. When I got my 996 he said "whatever makes you happy, Dad." When his friends come over they drool all over it and beg for rides while he plays Gameboy.
This may change with time, though. The girls in his class are always telling him that his dad has a cool car.
Not to worry. At only 7 years old you can expect her to change her mind at least 100 times before she turns 16. My daughter is 3 months away for 15 years, in driver training, and her car choices are now getting serious. Right now, her preference is a BMS 3 series, not a bad choice really for a youngster.
That's funny. I hear from more than one source that at this age my 7 an 8 year old daughter's think I am great, but at 12 or 13, girls think theirs dads are just a dork.
Tell her when pilots learn how to fly they do NOT start in an F-15 they start in a Cessna. When they learn how to fly, as determined by his/her instructor, they may move to higher performance vehicles. As you are her instructor, you will determine when she moves on to a higher performance vehicle. Lots of factors need to be considered....judgement, grades in school, in short, the whole package. Ask her how she thinks she'll do???
I have all intentions of getting my kids in karting that way I can blackmail them with their grades. No grades, no karting. This will also serve to ease my mind that when they joy-ride my cars I have a chance of them coming back (both) unhurt.
Can we buy denver-boots for our garages?????

When my son learned to drive, he refused to drive my Porsche because he knew how much I loved it and was afraid of damaging it (no, my son was never abused!) At first I questioned his lineage, but when he got a great job and started making money, he bought himself a mercedes CLK coupe, so I guess he is mine.
My start wasn't as glamorous, besides driving karts from time to time between 9-10 yoa, I learn't how to drive real cars at the tender age of 11-12yoa but the only thing they would let me lay my hands on to learn with was a Chrysler Cordova and an ugly green Plymouth something that they would let me park in the parkings or drive around in the cememtaries or deserted back roads and always accompanied, but doing spins and rear slides in the ice/snow in the cementary was still memorable none the less at such and age
Luckily, my 8 year daughter would be perfectly happy with this pink jeep wrangler a high school girls drives in our neighborhood. I am actually thinking about putting a note on it one day telling her when she wants to sell it, call me. It is a dark purpleish pink, but my daughter loves it. I bet I could get it cheap when this girl decides to sell it one day because of the color. Not my first choise in color or rides.
My dad still shakes his head at me...
He's into american v8's and drag racing
I'm into german cars and road work...
I'd never tell him, but I still love watching his cars launch and pull the front wheels off the ground!

There is a really mint-mint-mint hot pink 993 Cab at a local dealer. It's not just the body paint but has matching all pink leather too.
Form a line, Take a number, no pushing.
I saw the pink 996 in Naples with the two tone pink interior. It was on ebay months ago and is in the DuPointe Registry now or at least last month.
I showed this car to Abby (my 9 year old) when it was on ebay with a slew of pictures and to my horror, but no suprise, she loved it. That car is her. Scarey as hell to me. Madeline wouldn't touch it. They are polar opposites. The MSRP was over $ 100k and the car is practically brand new and they cannot give it way.
This pink 993 Cab has been sitting on consignment for a long time, and likely to.
You could strip it for racing if it was a coupe, but?
Somewhere, somehow there is a perfect match here for someone with 'unusual' tastes, which just made me wonder what tranny it had... probably a tipper, not that there's anything wrong with that. I mean this is 2003, it's ok, now...
Sounds like she is well on her way to becoming a certified porsche/car nut. Believe it or not, I was actually the first person to drive my dad's 996 after he bought it. After the detailers brought it out he just told them to give me the keys. I was going to get my hands on it sooner or later. Luckily for my dad I am 300 miles away at school so I only see the car every few months.
Webtool,
Given that there are likely very few all pink 993's in Toronto, I'm going to assume you are referring to the one at MVL? In nice shape if I remember correctly, but I think the woman who owned it wanted something like 73,000 for it. Nice shape, but you'd have to factor in the cost of a paint job for sure, and redying all the leather.

Yep thats the baby, sweet, huh?.
It looks to be in great shape. I thought about the whole process too but if you add up the costs and factor in the resale on a colour changed Porsche I'm not sure where you'd end up.
The best thing for that car is for someone to like that colour
I took pictures of my daughter in a Ferrari 333SP and she occasionally pulls it out and says that is what she wants. Only cost $1million or so....
