Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Does anyone have any input on using mineral soap to wash instead of other soaps, etc? I've read elsewhere that basically all soaps have ingredients that dry out the paint, but mineral soap apparently does not. Thanks in advance.

POST 2Original post

Mineral Soap contains two ingredients which, working together, can cause corrosion to metal surfaces: Glycerin and Sodium Chloride [Salt]. Glycerin is hydroscopic so it retains moisture. Salt mixed with water can cause corrosive action to metal surfaces. Also, it will degradate the paint by eating into it. Mineral Soap is proper for skin treatment on humans but not best for painted Porsches.
