This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My Local dealer told me the ROW Including parts and installation would be about 3600!!, but he then told me I should get the PSS9 because it was a better system, my question is how much of this is actual installation cost, he told me the ROW was around 1500 for parts and the rest was install, is that right?

POST 2Original post

A local dealer (Sonnen, Mill Valley, CA) quoted me $1600 to install ROW M030. When I talked with Steve at RennSport Systems in Portland, OR, he wanted $800 to install PSS9. That being said, I don't know if RennSport would install a PSS9 system you purchased from some place else (e.g. Carnewal). The cost of the PSS9 with GT3 bars is $2900 from Carnewal including shipping. I think the price for the same parts from RennSport was about $1000 more. Tim

POST 3Original post

360,000 pennies is too much. Negotiate with your dealer. They may cut you some slack on the parts cost and labor install (local PCA member, Rennlist, etc...). Average labor around here is $800-$1000 with RoW kits running about $1200.

POST 4Original post

I paid $9XX at Carnewal and Had a local Shop do the install for $600 w/alignment. $15XX total.

POST 5Original post

I've done it 3 times and it never took more than 6hrs + alignment. The last time it was less than 5 hours. Count $80/hr + $100 for alignment and the install should be under $600. The parts cost about $1G from www.carnewal.com JM

POST 6Original post

I paid $600 for install/alignment/corner balance of my Techart coilovers - this was at a small independent Porsche shop specializing in 996's.
