Thanks to the folks on the 996 board who replied to my inquiry for instructions on replacing the wheel. Attached are the before and after photos. The CF wheel is a work of art, and really dresses up the interior, IMHO. In the photo it looks gray, as it�s washed out by the flash. It�s actually black. The install was easy with the instructions from boarders. Hardest part was dealing with the Torx screws that hold in the air bag. I�m waiting for a Metropole Blue/CF 3-point wheel for my Turbo, which I ordered from Gert Carnewal last August. Apparently there�s a long wait for them. The black wheel in the attached photo I found while surfing Ebay, not looking for anything in particular. Before: After:
