Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion
Two choices (1) blow everything out until it stops (it will) and vacuum everything up; (2) repair the blend doors with new foam through the heater core (requires some tricky work removing the heater core and blend door).

They will want to remove the entire dash and replace the entire HVAC unit.
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced the issue of foam particles/chunks coming out of the HVAC Vents? Please see the picture. Any advice?
Foam particles visible on dashboard
The foam that covers the HVAC blend doors breaks down and comes out the vents. Two choices (1) blow everything out until it stops (it will) and vacuum everything up; (2) repair the blend doors with new foam through the heater core (requires some tricky work removing the heater core and blend door). Search this forum for fixing the blend doors. There are some detailed threads on the work required. Do not take it to a dealer! They will want to remove the entire dash and replace the entire HVAC unit.

Mine blew out about 15 years ago. I did not repair. Tweezers help to get the foam out of the vents. Shop vac the crap out of the vents. I haven't noticed any difference heating and cooling. Blows warm/hot when the heater is on. And blows super cool when the AC is on. About a year ago I had my AC system serviced with a nitrogen flush and new recharge. I figured at 25 years on the initial OE charge, I'm doing pretty good.
I wouldnt call the blend door repair tricky. On a scale of 1-10, I would put it in the 3-4 category. You do need to be courageous enough to repair your precision Deutsche machine with duct tape/similar material. I know that will sound like sacrilege to some.
If your heat still works its only because there is still enough foam in place at the blend door to direct the air. But eventually with enough foam loss the heat will stop functioning. I tackled this last year after a year of annoyance at not having any heat all last winter. The link posted above by DBJoe996 has everything you will ever need to fix this including several YouTube links and tons of photos. There are a couple of different repair methods with several variations that re all well documented.
