Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Can I use the 305's for the rears and the stock front sizing without any issues?

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Just wondering what the wheel widths are for 996 TT and C4S.
Additionally, what are the most narrow and widest that work well
with these wheels?
Just wondering for...
Winter tire size...I presume 265/35 r and 225/40 f
for track or summer tire, could you go 235 or even 245 front?
On rear, is 275 through 305/315 ok?
Thanks in advance.
Wheels: F 8, R 11.
Tires: F 225x40-18, R 295x30-18
All OEM summer sizes. Don't have the manual handy for the winter sizes. If you get 8.5 wheels for the front, you can go 235x40, ala GT3. These are pretty much the largest sizes you can go with the OEM wheels without some compromise on performance. If it's just for looks, you can go any size you want.
So 305/30/18's are ok for the rear?
I want some Hoosiers for auto-x and they don't make the exact size for the rear.
Can I use the 305's for the rears and the stock front sizing without any issues?
You'll probably end up understeering quite a bit with that set-up, Lance. For autocross, I usually like the car to be tail happy a bit. You're probably better off with 285x30 rears with the stock fronts in Hoosiers.
Lance,
The 305/30 Hoosiers are very tall. A full inch taller than the 285/30s so if you do use them you will probably want to match them with 245/40s. The other combo that would work would be 285/30 and 245/35. I can't see why you would use 225s in front. The 245s fit fine. As for which combo is better, I think it depends on the track. The taller tires will obviously effect your gearing. On some tracks it will be better, on others worse.
