Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.

Suggestion
I could have a very slow leak since I'm at 71k miles, but I am watching it closely and check daily to see if any lower levels are happening, so far it has stayed the same.
Leading evidence: 'Check daily' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Check daily' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Suggestion
I drove a couple of times and checked were when hot the level would be around max, when cold it was around Min or a little below.

If you don't have the skills and equipment, you should find a tech who can properly fill your coolant.

Suggestion
With me being in Az and it will get hotter and the mileage on my car, I plan on replacing Exp tank, any hoses that show damage, water pump and reflush of system.
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Last summer I had my 996 4S in for scheduled maintenance and the workshop told me they had do fill up with almost three liters of coolant.
They asked me to have an eye on the coolant level in the near future to see if my car took any coolant.
Question:
Ive since checked the coolant level in the reservoir regularly and one or two times the level have dropped about an inch but when opening the reservoir cap the level rises to normal.
Is it possible the car is consuming coolant anyway and could the reaction when opening the cap be due to air pockets in the cooling system?
Im thinking airpockets etc???
100% you don't want air pockets in your coolant. There are a couple of ways to eliminate them. If you don't have the skills and equipment, you should find a tech who can properly fill your coolant.
Something is not adding up here !! 3 liters low on coolant, the "low coolant warning" should have been flashing on your instrument cluster ...
Never check the coolant when hot/warm. You should check only when coolant is cold and the level should not rise...
Do not play around with this, coolant/cooling issues can kill the engine quickly, take it to a pro to pressure test ect....
The workshop did pressure test the system but found nothing wrong with it.
Any thoughts why the coolant level rises in the reservoir when unscrewing the cap?
When I first got my car I didn't realize that my level was below the Min mark on the exp tank. I tried to unscrew the cap when warm and I had a slight rise in level and could hear it, the system has air pressure in there.
I filled it up with distilled water between Min and Max. I drove a couple of times and checked were when hot the level would be around max, when cold it was around Min or a little below.
I am now back at a little below min cold and when hot above the min mark. I could have a very slow leak since I'm at 71k miles, but I am watching it closely and check daily to see if any lower levels are happening, so far it has stayed the same.
I will be getting an oil change soon and will have my indy look at everything to see if any leaks are there, I haven't seen nor do I smell coolant.
With me being in Az and it will get hotter and the mileage on my car, I plan on replacing Exp tank, any hoses that show damage, water pump and reflush of system. I also have to add since the indy is in there already Clutch, IMS and AOS
