Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Leading evidence: 'Clean year and mileage' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Clean year and mileage' (1 discussions). Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

i have 2 buyers
i'm having a few doubts about the turbo but PPI is going to be done by tues or wed next week - if things work out i'll be happy but i like my 996 - just can't believe how nice these cars are when they have been serviced at proper intervals and maintained to the hilt.
i may be getting old or weirder (i think the later)but the 996 feels drives and performs better than the 911sc and i've had lots of them - yes it doesn't have the oil smell and earlier aircooled sound and lower road feel but the 996 has developed into a more advanced suspension/hp feel especially the turbo - you just have to drive both air & water and compare.
people **** all over the 996's but 99% of those people have never driven one - i know my aircooled buddies are going to force me to pick up the soap on this one butt frockem
i just can't peel myself away from the look of the 996 turbo - to me it is a great design almost better than the current designs
Groove,
Very nice! Looks like Arctic Silver, sport seats, lowered (PSS10s?!)
I too love the 996 as a great driver's car. I have had 5 911s, 4 air-cooled, and the 996 in my garage still has a place in my heart. Now the 500hp Cayenne Turbo that I just picked up... that has a place in my heart as well!
Cheers,
TomF
PPIs are sort of a waste of money and certainly don't let it guide your buying decision. I realize that may draw the ire of many Porsche owners and that's cool. This is my 3rd now and I have never got a ppi. I'm not lucky, I just learn now to fix it myself and don't let something like a leaking slave stop me from buying a car for example. That being said a ppi is good if something really big and nasty is wrong and an unscrupulous seller is trying to hide it. If you're not confident you can detect a big issue yourself then by all means. If you're a gear head and the car feels right, there is nothing like a turbo. The ppi will give you a base info on what to expect to spend money on, they are good for that.
911t are bullet proof, even if a few bits come up, buy it if your happy with the car / price and fix the issues. Any car, even one with problems can become a good well sorted car with some tlc and attention, it depends on the owner not the car.
