Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Sonax wheel cleaner or Iron X (detailers domain, autogeek), simple green pro (purple fluid at home depot), then use a high end paint sealant or combination wax with polymers such as Meguiars NXT 2.0, Pinnacle Liquid Souveran, Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant.

Suggestion
If you use a quality wheel wax, that can handle the heat, like Rejex, and top with the Armor All Wheel Prot., all you'll ever need to re-wash your wheels is warm soapy water.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Does anybody have a tried and true method for removing the brake dust effectively. Now summer is here I want to make the winters look great and maybe even plastidip but currently they look like the inside of a coal mine.
Cheers

They're off the car? If so, it should be relatively easy. Some good wheel cleaner, stiff brush and some elbow grease. I get mine nearly perfect while on the car with Sonis wheel cleaner and the Daytona Brush. I've wanted to remove them to really get them clean, but I don't want my neighbors seeing my OCD.
Yea they are off the car so hopefully makes it a bit easier. Actually on my balcony so neighbors can't see. Cheers for the product names. Need to make sure nothing attacks the wheels weights glue or whatever it is they use to stick them in with.
I'm thinking plastidip would help stop the dust buildup but maybe not.

I did mine recently with simple green and a long handled brush and my rims cleaned up great. Then rinse with cold water, dry and put away till next winter. Even a little steel wool helps with the tougher areas inside the wheels.
Cheers
I do like the idea of wax also. I'm thinking of something a bit radical with plastidip but afraid it will look horrible. Been googling like crazy. Probably need to photoshop the colors I'm thinking. Just need to get and learn photoshop.
