Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

All, I may be taking the plunge on a '04 Cab. Anyone know a good PPI place in the Greenville area besides the Porsche dealer?

Something I should know? I'm dealing with a Dennis at the dealer, are you one in the same?

POST 8Original post

No I'm not that Dennis. I was also looking for a 04 996 for over a year and saw this one after I had bought mine in Atlanta. The car looks good. I think it's been on the lot a couple months. I paid about the same price with 10k less miles and tip tronics. (I know but that's what I wanted)

Yes you're right it has been sitting for a while but the dealer seems to be set on price. According to Protech they won't be able to do a PPI until the 28th at the earliest so I'm thinking on my options here. It does appear very clean but the dealership and Carfax are displaying different mileage (off by 2K.) I know Carfax is mostly crap and they're reporting higher so I hope that's wrong. Are you local to the car? Willing to do a 'drive by?'

POST 10Original post

Yup I live in Greenville. I'de be glad to go by and check it out, give it a spin and see what it looks like. I can call you while I'm with the car if you'de like. Send a private message with name and number and I'll give you a call.....Dennis
