Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

It's been down on power by a large margin for the last week or two, so much so that I cleaned the throttle body to see if that would help.
I had an uneasy throttle so I cleaned the throttle body, but I don't do this kind of work often so I was super cautious(slow driving) after I did it for a while.
Leading evidence: 'Clean throttle body' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Check ignition coils' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Plugs were changed 4k ago when IMS, RMS, new water pump, new AOS, new clutch.

It will give you the chance to check coils, when you are in there.

Suggestion
Cleaning it is simple, Pull out the MAF, spray with contact cleaner, let dry, re instill MAF (Temporary fix, getting a new MAF is a better way to fix this problem, but a good cleaning can make a noticeable difference)

If it was bad gas, having your injectors cleaned wouldn't be a bad idea.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

The problem went away within a mile of the gas mixing.
I went to pull away from a traffic light tonight and did NOT stall the car, the car stalled itself. It's been down on power by a large margin for the last week or two, so much so that I cleaned the throttle body to see if that would help. I still have no check engine light(CEL) and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. There hasn't been in the past, but there was a distinct electrical smell coming from the car, but I'm not 100% sure that wasn't the clutch as it was very difficult to get away from the light with almost no power.
Any thoughts? If it's something simple like an oxygen sensor or throttle position sensor I'd prefer to fix it myself.
'njoy,

When were the plugs changed? Not the easiest of jobs by a long way but worth it in the end. It will give you the chance to check coils, when you are in there. I believe that engine mounts can effect the pulling off of the car as well plus a smoother gear change.
Good question. I don't have a check engine light, but I'm willing to swap it out. Maybe I got some injector cleaner on it while cleaning the throttle body.
Maybe I should hit the local indy to see if I have codes even without a CEL?
'njoy,

Bad gas is definitely a possibility. Last tank was a smallish station. I'd love it if it's that simple. I'm about 3/4 through the tank, will fill it up tomorrow and see if I can get it to mix out the bad stuff.
Thanks for all the great responses.

Bad MAF would only put you in closed loop, you would barely notice the power difference. Cleaning it is simple, Pull out the MAF, spray with contact cleaner, let dry, re instill MAF (Temporary fix, getting a new MAF is a better way to fix this problem, but a good cleaning can make a noticeable difference)
If one of your coils was bad, you would notice it. count to six, and hickup when you say the number 4. That is what it would feel like.
If power is down over the whole RPM range it could be anything from bad grounding to blown motor.
Good luck and keep us updated.
Did you notice anything strange when this started the "last week or two"? Did you get fuel right before this? Any other symptoms while running? Excessive blow by?, smoke? noises? misefire? compression loss? PSM issue? etc? Slipping clutch and motor mounts have nothing to do with low power or "limp mode". You really need a code reader too.
Ok, so part of this is my perception. I had an uneasy throttle so I cleaned the throttle body, but I don't do this kind of work often so I was super cautious(slow driving) after I did it for a while. I think I began to feel more comfortable with it just as I added BAD PREMIUM GAS at Turners Corner in North GA.
I couldn't wait until tomorrow to find out so I went and filled up at a busy station in John's Creek. The problem went away within a mile of the gas mixing. She's not back to 100% as there was a quarter of a tank of bad gas, but def a marked improvement. I think we have a winner.
My perception was that the power had been down before I filled up, but that was because I was driving gingerly. My bad. Thanks so much for all the help.
So if you're ever down on power without a CEL consider bad gas a possibility.
