Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

My thoughts are documented DIY maintenance should NOT void the warranty but IMHO, best to check with your warranty directly since it is their opinion that will matter.

A company would have to provide at no cost to you the factory parts or labor if they required you as a consumer to use those to maintain your warranty (Porsche does not do this).
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I have a 3 yr 36k mile warranty on my 2003 Carrera. I do not see any written clauses that void the warranty if a non-certified mechanic does routine maintenance. What are your thoughts on warranty being voided if I perform and document scheduled maintenance?
My thoughts are documented DIY maintenance should NOT void the warranty but IMHO, best to check with your warranty directly since it is their opinion that will matter.
I suppose it may if you mess something up in the doing of a DIY job, then try to claim the for that mess up against the warranty. I have the same on mine a 3 year 30000 miles which ever comes first. Not sure exactly what it covers. Mainly the things that wear out I have to cover myself. I claimed on a noisy gear box and got a recon in shortly after I bought the car. Apart from that I haven't had to claim again. I do all my own preventative maintenance DIY. Obviously everything on the engine is covered by them. They don't cover pads and rotars and clutch and wearable parts of that nature. Maybe they cover the water pump or ims and rms if they fail but that's a recon engine if they do. I know they don't cover electrical failures. Recently I was asking about a chain slap which I have heard since getting the car, for a split second on start up, with the intention of claiming against that, but its not broken and still running so I should imagine I could plait saw dust easier than get that fixed by them. Now if the chain jumped and BROKE, then I could. I wont be taking out another when this expires. IMHO Keep doing your own DIY PM I have for 2 years now.
You're within your rights to DIY I believe. I think you must have competently performed the services, retain all receipts of consumables used (that meet or exceed OEM standards) and keep accurate records of maintenance per the maintenance per schedule in the manual and your covered I believe. A company would have to provide at no cost to you the factory parts or labor if they required you as a consumer to use those to maintain your warranty (Porsche does not do this). All covered by the below Act. This is just my understanding, there should be plenty of lawyers on here that can better cover the specifics.
