Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I just replaced my bulbs thinking that that would solve the problem but it still is doing it.
Leading evidence: 'Replace bulbs thinking' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace bulbs thinking' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hello everyone. New to 996 ownership. One of my headlights is a blue hue. The other one is white. I just replaced my bulbs thinking that that would solve the problem but it still is doing it. Does this have something to do with the projector itself or am I missing something? Different year assemblies? Thanks in advance.
If you have xenon bulbs, those come in a variety of "temperatures" (Kelvin) or "colors". Factory is 4300, which is very white, but without the obvious blueish cast. At around 5000 - 6000 you begin to see the bluer white. Halogen bulbs are typically colored by adding a colored coating to the glass. The wild card in your situation is a difference between two new bulbs.
Sounds like the ballast then, I don't think they sell that part by itself new, you should be able to find a used one on ebay/wherever, not sure much effort it would be to swap it out.
NA 996.s
Turbo
Can you post pics of the lights? Not sure if 996.1 or .2
Also, are the lights the same? The turbo 996.2 lights do have a slight blue hue to them, where the NA 996.2 lights do not. I think it is more due to the different chrome backgrounds where the tubo's are flat and the NA's are patterned.:

IMHO, it's the ballast. When they start to go bad, the voltage is not correct and one side effect is lower kelvin light temperature. Since a bluish tint is the "normal" for litronics, I would say the white one is starting to fail.
One idea to rule out the bulb completely, is by swapping ONLY the blue to the white side and see if the color changes. Take photos to compare.
If the ballast is weak, it overheats the HIOD bulbs internals as well and the result is burning out the bulb very quickly... Which often = a blue tint as they die..
