Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

14 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

It is time for a suspension refresh and Im looking for suggestions. Should I simply go with the ROW M030 kit or purchase Konis, H&R springs, and sway bars separately? I will probably see 1track event but will attend several mountain and road drives with local PCA. I want to flatten out my cornering during spirited driving and tighten up handling on the 99C2 Coupe.

POST 2Original post

I'll be replacing my M030 ROW suspension over the next couple of weeks so let me know if you're interested in buying it.

THanks for the offer....I'm actually looking to purchase from Suncoast tomorrow for weekend installation. How soon are your plans to remove from your car? How many miles on the suspension?

POST 5Original post

Starting to pull it off today so I'd expect it to be off by the end of the week. Per the previous owner it has about 6,000 miles on it.

Question for the group: What other suspension parts should I consider replacing while installing the ROW kit?

POST 8Original post

the ROW M030 kit really covers most of the key suspension components. You could get fancy with a control arm upgrade. The kit is fantastic and a great bang for the buck. A factory fresh suspension for $1000? Hey, at the very least, you know it fits perfectly! It definately helps with the high speed highway "float" that many U.S. 996 owners complain about.

POST 9Original post

I like my ROW M030 in terms of handling but I'm not happy with how high the car still sits. Eventually I'm going to change at least the springs to lower it a bit. But as mentioned above the bang for the buck is tremendous.

I'm getting the take off ROW from fellow member stjoh project track car. His ROW only has 6k miles on them. Looking forward to the improvement at highway speeds

So your getting the entire kit correct? Front & rear sway bars & bushings, struts & springs?

POST 12 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

. The rear swaybar may not make the kit, but everything else will be there. I will purchase the sway separate from Suncoast if it's not included. No big deal...

Well, I hope you are getting the shocks/springs cheap enough then or it really wouldn't make too much financial sense to buy the sway bars separately considering their cost if in fact bought separately.

POST 14 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just picked up my suspension from fellow PCA and Rennlist member. Good meeting stjoh and learning about his 996 track car project. Looking forward to seeing him on the track at CMP. Chuck
