Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

When I replaced my coolant tank on a 99' C2, I had to loosen both fuel lines and move them out of the way.

So I just replaced my expansion tank, and as I was running the car to re-fill with coolant I noticed something dripping.

Replacing the entire fuel line would be a huge job.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

So I just replaced my expansion tank, and as I was running the car to re-fill with coolant I noticed something dripping. I thought, "oh crap what could possibly be unhooked?" then I started to smell something that didn't smell like burning coolant. Quickly turned the car off... Noticed exactly where the liquid was coming out. The fuel line that is connected to the fuel rail on the drivers side. It is ruptured right near where that stupid clamp style hose Clamp on the bottom of the reservoir connects. While removing/ installing that b**** of a clamp it must have dug into the fuel line.
So frustrated right now, anyone know where I can find that fuel hose to replace it? I couldn't find much looking online.
Pictures below, (top arrow) is that the return, or the feed?
I would try Pellican or Sunset Porsche for a new fuel line. When I replaced my coolant tank on a 99' C2, I had to loosen both fuel lines and move them out of the way. Too bad you cut one. Often I'll end up doing the same thing by breaking or damaging another part while working on something else.
Replacing the entire fuel line would be a huge job. It goes all the way underneath the car, to around the mid point. After removing the line from the mount, I noticed it is leaking not where it was rubbing, but right at the mounting point from being bent so much. After seeing how the stock one connects, I actually feel safer using some generic fuel line parts from Orielley's... the stock one just slides onto the end of a nipple fitting. The hose is a hard plastic type material covered by rubber to protect it. The hose I got is actually a lot beefier believe it or not.
Tips for removing the coolant tank... Remove intake tube that goes up to the fan. Remove the air pump assembly, remove drivers side motor mount, lower the engine safely a little to gain more room, remove both fuel lines, remove all coolant hoses... Then it should be a lot easier coming out.
