Hi all. Just got my new-to-me '02 996TT. Has PCM1, and I live on the East Coast, but I only have the California disk for the NAV. Can anyone tell me about a reliable source for an East Coast disk? Anyone willing to trade even for mine, or would also consider selling mine if anyone's interested. Any help would be appreciated!

NavTech discs from BMW will work. I think I have the full 8 disk set minus the CA disc. Not sure where I put it though...

You'll want to get refreshed discs anyway due to the age... those old ones will be way out of date... Ebay?

If that is true, BMW releases an updated set each year in both CD and DVD format. I just updated my 2001's CD nav this year. Less than $200 for the entire 10 disc set. FYI, BMW now uses TomTom.

Thanks, guys. Will the newer disks work with the old software version, or does the disk upgrade the software along with the maps?
