Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have a 2001 996 Carrera w/ 9,000 mi. What would cause this? I am at altitude in Colorado(mile high). The smell lasted the remainder of the day. Car even stalled when idling after about 3-5 minutes of cool down. Could it be runing really rich b/c of altitude under thee spirited driving conditions? Does not do this any longer, nor did it prior. Only change from stock is a GHL Exhaust...no headers. Any ideas??? Thanks. Brad

POST 2Original post
