I think the easiest and best bet is to use the Porsche OEM manual sliders mated up with the correct BK bracket.

Hey guys, I just sourced a set of Recaro SPG XL's for my 996.2. Looking for some nice sliders that will mount up to my cars factory locations. Does anyone have a good quality option that isnt from Recaro. They want $800 for the sliders, and other $250-300 for the side mounts. I saw DemonSpeed Performance has a set by PCI on their site. They look like they are very good quality, but I have no experience with them.

Those seats have been declared no longer suitable for use by recaro. It pertains to the ones constructed between 2017 and 2022. That probably is because older than that have aged out for race use.

Yeah, I got a deal on them as new old stock. Recaro won’t sell anything that fits me until later this year or next year. I don’t track my car seriously anyway, but I wanted some better seats for the street. At 6’3”, I don’t fit perfectly in the stock seats. My Momo Mod7 wheel opens up more leg room, but cuts off the top of the tach view. Having these seats will make a huge difference driving the car for me.

I have a set of PCI base mounts and sliders that I'm not going to use. I decided to put my recaros in my M3 and GT3 seats in my carrera. The PCI stuff is nice because it already has the provisions for the sub strap. I believe PCI private labels the seat mounts for BBI and GMG. If you're not in a huge hurry, let me know if you're be interested. I think I have some parts in my garage and the rest at my friend's shop.
