Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I have to say I think the 996C4S and Turbo were probably the best looking 911 ever IMO.
Leading evidence: 'best looking 911 ever imo' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

We just purchased an 02 Carrera 4S, Guards Red on full black int, 6Speed, with only 11,8k miles. We've had it for about a week now and am loving staring at it in the garage!
I believe options are as follows: Bixenon, Bose, 6CD, Porsche Crest on seats, Sport seats, Alum shifter and e-brake. Not too many options.
By the way, I "graduated" from an S2000 to an M3 and to this. I've taken both the S2k and M3 to the track. I can't wait to feel the 4S at the track or at least the canyons.
Apparently I cannot post pictures since I do not have enough posts to do so! I plan on being a member also. Hopefully that will allow me to post pics!
For now, all you can see is my avatar, which is PART of the car.
Congrats.
The 4S is certainly going to take some getting used to, especially from an S2k or M3. I have a feeling that once you get used to the characteristics of the heavier all wheel drive 911 you'll be hooked for life.
Welcome to Rennlist! Enjoy.
It looks, feels and smells brand new w/ only 11,800 miles for an 02. We were fortunate enough to find her. I almost feel bad taking her out. I need a 996 daily driver. j/k
I totally agree. I ordered some clear ones but feel they won't look right. I'll take pics to show you folks. I kinda like the amber on guards red. I might be selling some barely used clear sides soon after I recieve them!
I'm glad to see you driving a nice bright color - red is a nice bold color. A couple of months ago I saw a Guards Red C4S come up behind me in my rear view mirror and it really caught my eye. It was worth slowing down to watch.
At the risk of upsetting some, it makes a difference to drive a color that's not so common... makes the car a little bit more special and it stands out more on the road. Although, I will say that regardless of color, nothing beats driving behind the rear end of any Carrera, but especially a C4S - I still get a kick out of it, even though I've been an owner for a while.
I tend to agree with you. I think the pumpkins will look best in the Guards Red. It will be interesting to see the photo comparison, but in advance of seeing it and based on other cars I've seen I'd keep the pumpkins.
Say, WHAT??? No, the pumpkin look is worse on a Guards Red car. Talk about colors clashing!
The "pun'kin look" must go!
It's a little quiet tonight so I thought I would try to stir up some trouble!
Well, I could say that it doesn't clash, it compliments... remember complimentary colors? I'm not sure that smoked markers are complimentary to red.
There's a time and place for everything and pumpkin on red might be it.
I've clear side markers. I always wonder why everyone here requests clear side markers and then puts grey smoked markers on the car. Clear ones go with the headlights, smoked go only with the grey (not red) backlights, so IMO -smoked looks as odd as yellow.
