Hi, I have the oportunity to get the gemballa short shifter. I have already seen it and it looks just like the b&m and in fact it is made by eibach in germany who also makes the B&M but to gemballa's specs. Does anyone know about this? How good it is etc? I was told it does 45% reduction. It looked really nice. Please give me some info! Thanks sean

So you're saying Eibach makes B&M? I've never heard that one, but it wouldn't surprise me too much. I can tell you the B&M is a nice shifter with about a 30-35% reduction.

yeah it is made in germany by eibach is what I was told and that the gemballa one is also made by them to their specs with reduction at 45%. I think I am going to get it, but I wanted to hear if anyone had any knowledge of it. It does look just like the b&m for the most part, but maybe a little nicer looking Sean

I've been trying to find out more about an IMEC short shifter....help anyone? the IMEC,Gemballa,EVO,and B&M all seem to have similarities (and shorten the forward 1,3,5 throws according to another thread).....while the Techart & Ruf (tranny mount) do not remove any of the side slop but do shorten 2,4,6.

Are you sure the B&M also changes the forward throws only? I'm asking because my shift from 1-2 is significantly shorter with the B&M. Doesn't make sense, please explain.
