I don't know if there's any change for MY '03 but on my '02 the Advanced Technic Pge include the Bose sound system, bixenon headlights, and headlight washers.

I'm a '03 C4S waiter and I'm working out what options I want. Honestly, the only two things I care about are a CD player and Xenon headlights. I would like an in-dash CD player with the ability to add a CD changer later if I want. Also I would like to have the Xenon headlights by themselves if they are available. What are the two options I need to get these items? Does the C4S come with the Xenons? I don't see the Technic package offered in the C4S options list- only in the C2 options list. Maybe I'm not looking at the right list.
Any guidance is appreciated. I don't want to bug my salesman until I have some idea of what in the world I want.

I could care less about the latter but that was the deal. And in for MY '02 you could not order just the Bose or just the Bixenon for the C4S.
Ken,
Model year 2003 is back to the way it should be. All options are 'a la carte'. The C4S comes standard with the Bose speakers, but you will need to order option 696 for the in-dash CD player, and option P74 for the Xenon headlamps. Dont forget XSC for Porsche Crests in the headrests, and I discourage 446 which is colored crests on the wheel center caps because the C4S has its own wheel center caps that say C4S.

I don't know about the C4S, but I have a 2003 999TT on order and it comes stock with an in-dash CD (w/the Bose system) -- the in-dash CD is no longer a special order item for the 996TT.

Believe me, the wheel cap thing is absurd. That is the easiest thing in the world to change. It's like asking the dealer to change the color of the pen you sign for when you pick up the car. Don't let 'em hassle you about this.
Thanks guys, I just got back from the dealer and I'm set up with the Xenons. I was told the car now comes with the CD player standard. I'll have to check into that a bit further though.

Can one order the in-dash CD rather than the remote 6-stack and still retain the Bose System?
Thats what I've requested in my 03'. I was not told that the in-dash was now standard eqpt in the C2, however this would be welcome news at anti-up time.

The in-dash CD is standard with the MY03 Bose (no longer an additional charge). The 6-CD truck player remains an independant option (you have to special order it for an additional $700+).

from reading these posts am I right in undertanding that the Bose system is standard on the C4S for 2003, and the bi-xenons and the 6 CD changer are additional options, or is the Bose also an option with the HiFi system as the standard equipment?
Yes, exactly. Is the Bose audio standard in the 03' C4S and C2? It is understood that the in-dash CD comes included if the Bose system is specified.
