Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Allthough I did change all the oxygen sensors before.
Leading evidence: 'Replace oxygen sensors' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace oxygen sensors' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Changing out mufflers for a quality set like Cargraphic will have no effect on motor variables.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I was going to gundo hack my mufflers but after seeing how disintegrated the bottom seam is, it seems I should simply move on from the factory exhaust. I was thinking about going with cargraphic, but does anybody have them to know how the "sound" and "super sound" models compare to the factory in terms of volume?
Im sure you are correct. When they fail, we will visit our local exhaust shop and have a new section welded in. As little as I get to drive the car Ive got years most likely.
I did read about that. I've pretty much settled on the Cargraphic, I just don't know if the "sound" is louder than stock or if you have to go to the "super sound" for that.
Here a happy user of the Cargraphic TUV sound mufflers ... they filter out a lot of drone-frequencies and what is left is a pronounced boxer sound. My exhaust consists of the OEM manifolds (want to upgrade to 997 3.8) with Topgear 200-cell cross-over cats. 996 C2 3.6L
I love the sound! Not loud at all but very refined instead. I always get good comments from other Porsche drivers how good the soundbyte is.
I have a full Cargraphic exhaust - headers, 200CEL X-Pipe and Super Sound mufflers. I had the TUV sound but wanted louder so I swapped them.

Changing out mufflers for a quality set like Cargraphic will have no effect on motor variables. Unless maybe in the highly uncommon case where there is already something wrong with sensors before the swap. They only will affect sound and claim they have a slightly better flow. These are no parameters which would trigger a CEL.
Even switch to a good quwlity 200cell cat doesnt give any issues. Already doing 25k miles with mine. Allthough I did change all the oxygen sensors before. Two of them got stuck and no force on earth was there to get them out undamaged..
