This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Fitted a Porsche X51 (345bhp) stainless system to my 3.6 and had a 2" Gundo Modification done. You can hear it here: Porsche 996 X51 with Gundo Modification. - YouTube

POST 2Original post

I didn't know the x51 mufflers were any different or stainless... Seems like 1.5" tubing based on the pics.

POST 3Original post

Ya that tubing doesn't look like 2". This is what mine look like with 2" tubing. The only thing different on the X51 cars as far as the exhaust were the headers.

POST 5Original post

Sorry guys for the newby question, but I thought this one was the Fister mod? Wasn't Gundo the connection from the accessory plug in the back of the can?

POST 6Original post

They are both the same. Fister, from my understanding used to do it like the PSE before but wasn't loud enough so they went to the method of just bypassing the inlet to outlet.

POST 7Original post

LesField, the video sounds good. I still haven't modified my original mufflers, but probably will at some point. I basically only use mine for track days and autocross, so I haven't grown tired of the muffler delete. I'm not sure that much movement of the tailpipes when revving is normal. You might need some engine mounts.

POST 8Original post

I have to say, I love that mild burble. Tempting!
