Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I understand the C4S is several hundred pounds heavier than a regular Carrera. What types of sport suspensions are available, preferably original Porsche parts if available.

POST 2Original post

If its factory you want then go with the X74 for the C4S. You could get it from Gert at Carnewal. Other than that the PSS 9 from Bilstein is highly recomended.

POST 3Original post

does anyone know the weight differential b/w PSS9s and stock suspension?

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for the info. Do you find yourself bottoming out more once you changed the suspension from stock driving around town?

POST 5Original post

You know, the C4S has the Porsche sport suspension as std equipment. It's not that bad out of the box! I doubt many of the folks on this board can actually ,fully ,utilize a Billstein Pss9, with all it's adjustments in lieu of the std sport suspension. I think you would be just fine in 90% of your on-track expeitions with the 030. The wt differential is a paltry 281# for craps sake, again not enough to make a difference in 90% of cases. Now can we stop bashing C4S'.Just m .02

POST 6Original post

The C4S has special for the car Bilsteins. Different for the turbo shocks. And if you want to firm it up a little and lower it a little, you can just add the ROW C4S springs from porsche.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
