Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hello guys,
I am just wondering would the car or engine be harmed if I stalled the car ocassionally since I am new to driving a manual trans and especially a Porsche?? I just got a 03 C4S!!!! I'll try to post some pics soon.
Thanks
The clutch will properly take some wear and tear. It is an expensive item. I just have the clutch change on my 03 C4S. It costed $3K. Other than that it is a fun car to drive.
The engine will cope just fine. Try to get in the habit of slipping the clutch for as little time as possible, keep practicing, don't let other drivers stress you out, and it will be fine. Even experienced stick drivers can stall occasionally, so you're in good company.
Here's a driving school tip from when I learned to drive: use your handbrake when you come to a full stop. Your car won't roll back and you will have a little extra time to find the clutch take up point with minimal slip. This tip will save you a ton of clutch wear, especially if you drive on hills e.g. San Francisco.
Just let the clutch slip a little and not worry about it. You will gradually get the hang of it and the slippage will be reduced. You CANNOT start any car off without wearing the clutch disc.
