Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I am very certain it will never be used by me. I wonder if there is a way to do away with it during production of the car?

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Regrets. I see the wiper is an option and not standard as mistakenly thought by me.

POST 3Original post

For those of us who drive in snow, the rear wiper is good to have, particularly when you're stuck in traffic. Probably not so good where you live. In Israel, I've seen some people take the front wiper blades off their cars in summer to prevent deterioration during the prolonged periods they aren't used. I'm always surprised more owners don't drive their cars year round. C4's are terrific snow cars. My TTx50 seems to continue that tradition, but the ground clearance may be a problem when accumulation occurs. AS

POST 4Original post

Most useful with AWD (C4, C4S or Turbo) since rain does not slow you down as much as a C2. Lets you check whats behind or persuing you easier.
