Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I've got a clicking noise coming from my engine bay when I release the clutch, noticed it when I installed the tran mount inserts. Mechanic says not to worry. I noticed this linkage seemed loose when I was under the car. Could this be the source of my clicking, and is this normal? Thanks, Chris You Tube

POST 2Original post

That is one of the shift cables. The clutch slave and associated linkage is on top of trans toward left side. That "play" looks normal. Look at figs 3&4 here. http://www.pelicanparts.com/techarti...Hydraulics.htm
