Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

WOW...I am blown away. Car looks amazing, IMO. I am thrilled with it. Very happy with the results. I painted the center caps myself with a little rattle can semi-gloss. Matched perfectly. I think I will keep the black brakes, they look sinister behind the wheels. Sorry for the crappy photos. It was plenty bright outsode, but my camera sucks...

POST 3Original post

Very nice Chad ... the only thing you could do now to make the car look even better and faster is paint it Speed Yellow

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks Demon (I think. ) Next up - GT3 nose splitter and maybe a subtle tint on the windows. C.

so you put up a pic of a black dude and now an asian dude to play on racial stereotypes... you from the south and you white... but u know what i ain't playin that game cuz u don't know better. keep blowing yourself away bud, you're doing a great job of it so far lol

POST 14Original post

Chad...ignore the haters. The car looks absolutely awesome!! A 35% window tinting job and she will look even better!! Awesome. The IF's looked pretty good too... Benj...chill out man. Don't turn this into something that does not need turned into (..?..).

POST 16Original post

That was funny. Great job. I love everything on the car except the "911" script.

POST 17Original post

Wheels are perfect. I think a 30% tint would look best. Keeps the heat out, protects the interior, and you can still see who's in the vehicle. For me it's the best compromise. For what it's worth.....

funny that your siggy is all blingy...

POST 21Original post

Looks good... I love black wheels. Just say no to bling.

POST 23Original post

Chad the wheels look great. For tint I went with the legal limit and its looks plenty dark but I can see out of the windows, even a night. What side skits are on your car?

POST 24Original post

Very Nice Chad...I like it! Think the tint would complete the pkg.

POST 25Original post

That's what I'm after for my white RSA. Looks good man! If I have one hand down my pants while looking at those wheels am I more than a 'Hobby racer'? '93RSA 3.8 w/Fikse

POST 26Original post

The black GT3's look sweet Chad!! I love how they are reminiscent of the classic Fuchs.

POST 27Original post

You pulled it off and although some may disagree, I think the black wheels do a great job of complementing the white body of the car. Well done!

POST 28Original post

That car looks as good as a '99 to '01 Aero Coupe can possibly look.

POST 29 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Even better....that sig is 3D rendering... C.

POST 30Original post

That looks real good! You need to adjust your muffler / tips. I have the same muffler and tip setup and it doesnt stick out that much and it should be much closer to the bumper.

POST 31 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks to all. I appreciate it. Truly do... To answer Q's: 1. Wheels are mkII GT3 18" OEM (18x8 & 18x10) 2. Side skirts are MkI GT3 Aero (as is the rest of the kit) C.

Thanks man...you are correct. I have a head ache and it's late... (been thinking about what track wheels I want...)

POST 35Original post

Black wheels look good on white without a polished lip like the most have, I may copy u =)

POST 36Original post

Chad - the wheels look great. They turned out very well! However, I have to disagree with you on the calipers. IMO, you need something to give those wheels some depth. Right now I think they look two-dimensional. Red or even yellow calipers would really bring them to the forefront and add the 3rd dimension.

POST 37 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hey Tim..thanks... I am debating about the brakes... I am thinking about a StopTech 4-wheel set. The 2-piece rotors will help with the heat transfer to the hubs. But that's a lot of $$ to blow on brakes. I might simply wait to find out where it goes... C.
