Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I used 4 long (6") screw eye hooks on a piece of wood and 2 bolts that went across the eyes.
Leading evidence: 'Use 4 long (6") screw eye hooks' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Run across the eye bolts' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

I put a soft rubber pipe over the cross bolt that run across the eye bolts.

So, basically, 2 shelves, bottom one with screw eyes and a long bolt running thru it and the top shelf that holds the top's bolt using the 2 "U" bolts.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I will take a picture today. But, this is what I did. From looking at the OEM mount, all the weight is rested on the bottom while the top holds the hard top's mount bolts in place. I made my rig based on this principle.
I used 4 long (6") screw eye hooks on a piece of wood and 2 bolts that went across the eyes. These go at an angle due to the curvature of the top. The hard top rests on them. For the top, I got 2 "U" bolts that will hold the hard top's long bolt. So, basically, 2 shelves, bottom one with screw eyes and a long bolt running thru it and the top shelf that holds the top's bolt using the 2 "U" bolts. I put a soft rubber pipe over the cross bolt that run across the eye bolts. Hope you guys get the picture. I spent $10 for all this at local Home Depot.
Here you go. Hope this helps.
Ignore the scary witch and the jack stand. i put the stand as a "just in case" scenario. lol
The "U" bolt holding the top from falling over.
The screw eye bolts. Note the different heights and the placement. Pardon the dust.
Finally, the cross bolt through the eye bolts that actually holds the hard top's weight.
Let me know if you have any questions... although I doubt you will. It is very simple setup.
Cheers,

Great setup! I have the parts from the Porsche one similar to the wall mount one but it is on a big roll around. Looking at yours I think I can use parts to adapt it to hang on the wall. Will post pictures when done.
Having those parts will make an elegant setup... unlike the ghetto one I have. But, for $10, I can't complain and it serves the purpose. LOL.
I think if one has a nice pipe bender, it is easy to make like the OEM piece. Look forward for the pictures of your setup.
Thanks for the awesome ideas guys. I did this.

Hi I was wondering if you still have lying around. I live in the north midwest. I would be willing to pay for shipping. As long as it fits a 2004 Boxster hardtop I am interested. I am new to the Porsche community as of June 25th.
