Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suggestion
As in all the lugnuts were loose and should have been tightened further, but because they weren't they all came off, causing the car to lose the wheel.
Leading evidence: 'Tighten further' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Tighten further' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I know there are lots of threads on this but none that distinguish between the yellow and black Pagid pads. Use is a 996 cs partial track and street. How do they compare?
Black and Yellow are not good terms to describe Pagid brake pads. There is a sport pad which used to be yellow which is now black. There is a comfort pad which is black and there is a race pad which is also black. I could help if you could specify which pad. For track use, the Pagid RS 19 and RS 29 pads are excellent. Both are yellow. There is an RS-14 black pad which has more braking power but is tough on rotors.. see what I mean?

OE - this is almost as bad as interchanging

which is done with alarming regularity on this forum.

I guess tonight the spelling guidance is easier to obtain (attain) than (then) the brake (break) advice. But alas, it is well deserved in my case. Maybe I should have searched for brake pads instead of break pads --just kidding.
In all seriousness, by black I mean Rs 14 and by yellow I mean rs 9. The 9's are called endurance pads but the descriptions indicates that they are based on the Rs 14's.
But not as bad as the "loose" - "lose" debacles. As in all the lugnuts were loose and should have been tightened further, but because they weren't they all came off, causing the car to lose the wheel.
If you go to the George W. Bush Libary of Congress you will find the right way to say and spell all of these confusing words ;-) You can have a sangwich while you're there.
amierowl - GT3 drivers like the following combinations:
RS-19 or RS 29 all around. Excellent braking and rotor friendly. The 29's are a newer design with more initial bite. They work well on the street as well since they have decent friction when cold (see graph above). Some like RS 29 in front with the RS-14 in back. The 14 has more bite and helps balance the braking. The 911 comes with a lot of front brake bias for some reason. The 14 is not as rotor friendly as the 19/29 pads. Does this help?
