Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion
I purchased the wearthertech for my 01 996, but not the one they recommend (W3 to narrow) I get the W4 and trim around the dead pedal and gas pedal.
Leading evidence: 'Recommend (w3' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Recommend (w3' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I'm thinking about buying some Husky Liners floor mats for winter. Has anyone ever used them? Do you have any feedback?
Here's a link if anyone else is interested:

Thanks, Pat
I have had them for my Tundra pick-up for about three years, they are GREAT!!! I am in construction (mud, clay, water) and the carpet underneath looks new. I never thought about them for a Porsche. I might get a pair for my 03 Targa!
path,
Make sure they are made for the p-car, cause the driver side is really odd shaped, especially the 6 spd, and if you had to cut them whatever they 'catch' in the way of mud, snow, etc, would spill over the side on to the carpet.
I got a set of Weathertechs, the passenger side fits great, the driver side needed a little cutting, but it was pretty easy.
Also, I had a husky bed liner in the back of my range rover. It was great but the plastic is not as pliable, especially when cold.
I purchased the wearthertech for my 01 996, but not the one they recommend (W3 to narrow) I get the W4 and trim around the dead pedal and gas pedal.
But here is the warnning; The groves on the bottom wear into your carpert, so I keep an old set of mats under the weathertech so I do not ruin the carpet.
On my second set in three years.
I have these mats and they are good at protecting from wet and grit. I found it necessary to remove a small piece from the top edge of the driver's side, in order that the clutch pedal did not catch the mat. Other than this DIY fit effort they serve the purpose well.
As a follow up, I actually took my floor mats out...and just have the rubber mats in, then after the winter, I'll swap again, that way the floor mats stay nice. If the carpet has grooves, I figures they'll be covered by the floor mats...
I just ordered a set of the Llloyd's rubber. I picked these b/c they are custom cut and you get a set of 4. My only concern is that they don't have a lip like the Weathertechs, but I always bang my shoes together to get the snow off anyway
