Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

34 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hey all, I've been lurking around these boards since I purchased my car about 18 months ago. I've finally managed to get some pictures that would do my 2004 C4S justice, so I thought I would make my official introduction.

POST 2Original post

HOLY COW, That is one beautiful looking car!!! Welcome to the bright side (or is this the dark side) Looks like you have spent some time with her and she likes it! Really clean shots! I was hoping to get mine out between rain squals to get some Autumn colors in the background, Nicely Done! Ed

POST 3Original post

wow... this is the 1st time seeing a 4s with gt3 wheels... and I like it! are they OEM or with spacers? any future mods?...

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks guys! This place is great and I'm happy to be here. The GT3 wheels are OEM. The car was ordered from the factory with them. So far the only mods I've done are the side markers and Lloyds Mats inside. Though I have a list of some for the future, when finances permit. Short shift kit Painted bumperettes Painted lower black trim Alum gauge rings Painted rear console And maybe even a PSS9 down the road. As for now I'm love her the way she is. I'm a lifelong 911 fan and it's awesome to finally have my very own. It's an amazing feeling to know that your dream car is parked in your garage.

POST 9Original post

Lovely car indeed. Can't go wrong with silver. Nice pics.

POST 11Original post

Great looking car! Shame on you for lurking around for so long without a little peek at the car. But I do understand, there are so many fine cars on this board it's a little intimidating and you do want to have just the right shot for your debut... Congrats on the car and thanks for sharing pictures. Rudy -------------------------------------- '01 Arctic Silver/Black C2 Cabriolet '03 Silver F-150 Supercrew

POST 12Original post

Welcome to Rennlist and Congrats on getting a sweet looking C4S! Thanks for posting the pics! Now I don't have to give you the "Newbie Initiation" speach! <Tim thinks to himself> Damn Newbies!! They are starting to "get it" about posting pics! What the hell good are Newbies if I can't yell at 'em?!?!?!? Again, Welcome to the Porsche Phunny Pharm!

POST 13Original post

I wondered what those wheels would look like on my car. Now I know. Welcome, you have great taste in cars!

POST 14Original post

I want those wheels. They look incredible on the 4S.

POST 15Original post

Quotes source post: 5967965

They probably look even better when the car is in motion.

POST 16Original post

Quotes source post: 5968603

Yeah, like that's going to happen. Welcome! Don't mind Phil and Tim - Phil dreams about driving his car more than 50 miles per year and Tim dreams about getting back into driving his long lost Porsche.

POST 17Original post

Quotes source post: 5969164

Maybe Tim and I can work something out.

POST 18Original post

Quotes source post: 5970833

OK, how about this! You ship the car down to Dallas for the winter and I'll drive it. That way, all three of us win.... you because you don't have to worry about making a Winter trip to Holberts for a new battery (marked up 225%).... me because I get to drive the Porsche..... and your car because gets to "run around" in the Winter. The only potential problem I see is that when I take your car back to PA, it may ask to go back to Texas with "Uncle Tim" because it felt so loved and appreciated.

POST 19Original post

Quotes source post: 5971423

That's the dealbreaker.

POST 20Original post

Quotes source post: 5971688

What? You don't want me to take it (drive it) to PA? I guess I could have it shipped back.

POST 21Original post

Welcome to Rennlist I love Gt3 rims too. For me they are the best design to match in any 996 model You did the right thing posting pics We can see that you've really been lurking here before.... so you know Tim's lessons

POST 22Original post

Looking at the pictures I suddenly had this Stevie W:s song playing in my head....."isnt she lovely.....isnt she wonderfull...."

POST 23Original post

Quotes source post: 5971423

Tim, I think that's a wonderful idea - I came to the same conclusion when I was thinking about it today - it's an all around win.

POST 24Original post

Very nice shots! I wish we had fall colors down here... ///Michael

POST 25Original post

Great pics. I've never seen GT3 wheels on a 4S either. Its a really good look.

POST 26Original post

The car looks awesome!! Perfect! I wonder if those wheels are lighter than Superleggera |||s + spacers.

POST 27Original post

Quotes source post: 5973251

Yep, an all around win for Tim.

POST 28Original post

Welcome. I agree that it looks great with the wheels. Your giving me ideas for my first mod!

POST 29Original post

Quotes source post: 5974073

Actually they are just a tad heavier then the Turbo twists hollow spokes of a 996 TT.

POST 30Original post

Great looking car! I love the wheels. I'm in the hunt for a set of my own.

POST 31Original post

Nice look overall, very clean. You just can't go wrong with those wheels, they look great, welcome to the club.

POST 32Original post

Very nice, love to see GT3 wheels on other 996's, especially on wide-body models, didn't know Porsche has the correct offsets for them. I already upgraded mine with an OEM set, love the look and the stand on NB cars... Enjoy your car. Cheers.

The 997 GT3RS is a widebody so the RS wheels have widebody offsets.
