Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

there is an annoying problem with my sunroof switch. It ALWAYS requires pressing the lift button twice to get it to operate. I will press lift hear a click but no movement. Then quickly press again and it will work. Same operating procedure for closing the sunroof once it is open. I think it is more than just a switch going bad because it ALWAYS works on the second press. Any thoughts?

POST 3Original post

Welcome to my world... After a lot of reading and fiddling around with it I have come to these conclusions: 1. The bad news: It's more than likely the motor going bad 2. The good news: Mine has been that way for almost a year Motor is available under $300.00 last time I checked at Sunset Parts but I decided to just wait till the damn thing finally gives up the ghost. Hopefully, not in the rain...
