and I had 996 posters back in the day, it was my dream car, but also, I wanted to replace our weekend BMW Z4 car for a GT car, as we like to road trip and go for weekend short trips (we live in Croatia) to the Adriatic sea.

Yeah, this post is for all the men out there that need convincing their significant others about getting the perfect family sports car.
As my first car was VW Beetle from 1972. and I had 996 posters back in the day, it was my dream car, but also, I wanted to replace our weekend BMW Z4 car for a GT car, as we like to road trip and go for weekend short trips (we live in Croatia) to the Adriatic sea. So I was considering Maserati GranTurismo, it has Ferrari V8, which is nice, it has a lot of room and it is proper GT car, my wife was eager about that, also, into consideration was BMW M6 and Bentley Continental GT.
But then, I said, 911, 996, and her condition was - cabrio (I wasn't happy about that but ok), and my condition was manual.
So yeah, 996 doesn't have room like GranTurismo or M6/Continental GT, but it is my dream car.
So, my wife was easy to convince, and now our little family of 4 (Whiskey is the dog, pomeranian), we can go everywhere.
We have egg 3 stroller, and the egg fits great, my wife has leg room (170 cm), and the stroller goes into the front without wheels, and there is room for stuff.
I also consider to buy a smaller stroller, our baby is 6 months old, and man he can sleep on the back seat listening to boxer engine.

You've guaranteed yourself at least 5 years of happy 911 motoring. Hopefully, by the time your child gets taller, they and your wife will have fallen in love with the 911 enough to allow you to keep it even longer.
Thanks mate, well, this is our last sports car, I am planing in next 5 years to make a full restauration, engine, body, paint, and it will be for our son, but after our retirement, hahaha.
Hahahaha, well, that is similar that I did with my Miata! One Christmas I was transporting my Christmas tree with the top down, and also I would usually transport my MTB.
So an update, yeah, it is a perfect family weekend car. My wife is very happy, and our son Leo, he loves the vibrations of an boxer engine, he immediately goes to sleep when we go somewhere.
So to everyone, Egg3 stroller goes into the front booth with removed wheels, the egg fits perfectly behind and in front if you lady is under 175 cm, she has enough leg room.
