Probably a question that has been raised before, however, I'll ask it again and would appreciate advice from other members. I need a new set of tyres for my 996 C2, I have always run the car on Pirelli P Zero Rosso (N4). The consensus on tyres ~2026 appears to be Michelin Pilot Sport 4's are perhaps the best all-rounders, despite not being an official N rated tyre - is that even relevant on a 25 year old 996? I'd be interested in the experience/guidance of other 996 owners. Thank you...

Tyres tend to be a personal thing. I have been running a set of PS2s (19" N2) on my 987 Cayman S since July 2021. They are good road tyres in wet and dry conditions and seem to wear well. I cannot tell the miles they have done in these 5 years because I fit winter wheels and tyres (18" Pirelli Sottozeros). I would guess the PS2s have covered 12-15K in that time and are now at 3.5mm front and 4.5mm rear. There is at least one other thread in the forum about tyre choice ( https://www.porscheclubgb.com/forum/threads/michelin-ps4-vs-ps2.157809/ ). Other considerations are tyre noise, which has also been discussed in the forum.
