Used the durametric to get a live track of fuel pressure demand vs delivered on a varied run, though not been able to trigger the CEL during any of these drives.

Threads on 987.2 997.2 cars with this error dont seem to end with an answer of what is wrong, possible they ended up in limp mode (failure of the HPFP just results in running solo on the low pressure and limiting power) and just replaced the pump then.
