I know that many may think that this isn't a real Porsche but pretty rare to see these days but being used with enthusiasm.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
46 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Have you come across a rare or eye-catching example of a 911or a Carrera GT whilst on your day to day travels and managed to to grab a photo? Well the sole purpose of this thread is for like minded Porsche lovers to post their discoveries. There are so many fantastic and unusual cars out there that don't get the recognition or exposure they deserve, so let's do our bit and share our sightings with the rest of the community.
Lovely orange 991 gt3rs parked in Guildford Screwfix this morning!! Then popped over to Porsche next door. Not seen one in the flesh before, gorgeous!!!'
Gorgeous 16 plate purple GT3RS at the BP station on the A14 near Newmarket at 6.45am today. On the way to a Snetterton track day? There was an M3 on a trailer too in that metallic mustard colour.

911R - today in a little town in Puglia, Italy - I think it was following two new Panameras - but didn't look at them properly!!!
Lovely thing...
The downforce and grip on this is amazing
Sorry to good to miss an opportunity. I keep having same issues with iPhone pics.
2 GT3 RS's spotted in the Brentwood / Shenfield area recently, last weekend an orange one and this morning a blue (possibly miami) on the school run in the drizzle, I got a bit excited much to the bewilderment of the 14 year old daughter
991 GT3RS spotted in Surrey this afternoon, joining A3 from Send and turning off at Cobham. Think it was GT silver but i could be mistaken! Beautiful car!
Stunning Carrera GT drove past me and my 6 year old boy on Hewell Road, Redditch around 2pm today.
Looked & sounded incredible.
Huge respect to the driver who slowed down and moved over to allow my boy & I to walk safely on the very narrow path. No one else did.
If your Porsche is safely tucked up in it's heated garage until spring look away now! I spotted this on display at the Historic Monte Carlo Rally passage control in Banbury on Thursday.
I know that many may think that this isn't a real Porsche but pretty rare to see these days but being used with enthusiasm.
Spotted in France on the way back from the Alps - number plate says GT3, but think it's a 997 GT2.. lucky bugger anyway with a Cayenne and 911 to boot.
Wasn't hanging about on the Autoroute either..
I spotted a green GT3RS (reg 9OU) along with a silver(ish) possible GT2RS (reg 8OU) heading towards Slough today.
I only saw the back of both cars, but they looked awesome
Assuming they're owned by the same person, that's a great pair or cars!
spotted a gt3 992 looked like olive green ? reg ghd100 this afternoon in scarborough heading to Morrisons ..... looked ok ..... i guess... no i 'll rewrite that looked awesome
997 GT2 in silver, with the reg.
F9 SSA
at a house round the corner from mine..
Certainly a rare spot especially in this neck of the woods! Looks awesome, is the owner on here or does anyone recognise the plate..?
Both rare and eye catching. Just came across this gorgeous 911 last week in Munich. Quite the smorgasbord of generations represented. It seems to be a 996 4s judging by the interior and back, but with 997 bug eyes. Classic wheels and RS ducktail spoiler. Judging by the wheels and breaks, seems to be some sort of restomod. I’m sure it’s not for everybody, but I was drooling over this thing. Only put-off for me is that it’s an auto.

It’s a 993.
Yes, a 4s, realised that later, silly me
Two GT3’s and an Aston braving the narrow lanes of Painscastle just up from Clyro. These roads can be a right swines and I’m in a 1 series so tip of hat to them for making it up to the roast ox inn and beyond.
992.2 GT3 Touring press car (911 GB) just randomly parked by a house near me for a few days, had to drive past it three times this morning get out and have a look in the flesh.
Fabulous looking car and the green metallic is an awesome colour, reminds me of the MK2 VW Golf GTI Oak Green just with a little less brown in it. Would have preferred an interior in a strong contrasting colour maybe Cognac, and some gold wheels but what a sight to brighten a dull winters morn. M3 touring parked in the drive next to it, created a very strong pair for a full on 2 car garage.
It's this one from the evo review...

Saw a Dark red 992 GT3 Touring in South Ken today, looked incredible. Never seen that colour on a 911 before, never mind a GT3. I guess if you can afford to live there a GT3 is like a little runabout!
Might be this PTS colour ?
