I have found a guy who repairs these items, who miraculously lives within 15 miles of me, the stalk is being repaired on Tuesday @ a very reasonable cost.

He drills out the rivets holding the casing together, then takes top off the casing, removes the damaged indicator stalk checking what is damaged, then in my case replaced the damaged indicator stalk with one he had previously done.

I have a 4 stalk indicator stalk set, that the indicator stalk doesn’t function properly, I would like to find some one to repair it, there are people who do this, but I seem unable to locate them. I have today had my 4 stalk indicator set repaired. Seems like a top job, Matt is his name, he is based in Nafferton in East Yorkshire. He drills out the rivets holding the casing together, then takes top off the casing, removes the damaged indicator stalk checking what is damaged, then in my case replaced the damaged indicator stalk with one he had previously done. The stalk is repaired with plastic & resin & reinforced with metal if necessary. The item is then reassembled holding the case back together with dome topped set screws. Cost is £30 plus postage. Which in my opinion is a bargain. The 4 stalk has not been refitted to my car yet but works well self cancelling etc. As it will need to go to my indie to do this & code it in to the car.
