I have been running on Pirelli P Zeros on my 996.1 C4 for many years and now need some new ones, thought i would see what other people use and if it would be worth changing to another brand.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello I have been running on Pirelli P Zeros on my 996.1 C4 for many years and now need some new ones, thought i would see what other people use and if it would be worth changing to another brand. I do find them a little noisy but that might just be after driving a Golf R as a daily which has very little road noise. Look forward to hearing peoples experiences so i can look into what options to go for. thanks Phil

POST 2Original post

Hi Phil, i fitted a full set of 18" Pilot Sport 5's on my 99 C4 in 2025 and absolutely endorse them... got a great deal on the correct sizes from Tyreleader. Very grippy in wet and dry, not overly noisy and wear really well indeed. Nice looking tyre wall too, not that it matters. All the best. Si.

POST 3Original post

+1 for Pilot Sport 5’s... much better , also after many years of P Zeros.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Great thanks very much to out of you

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Another question the pilot sport 5 are not n rated however the pilot sport 2 are so interested to know on thoughts on which is best to go for ? Thanks again

POST 6Original post

i wouldn't be concerned about N rated tyres on a 25+ year old car...

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Very True so I guess the Pilot sport 5 are the better ones to go for as newer tread
