Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

... You make a clock sculpture for the living room... The piston is from the 3.2L engine (2000 Boxster S) that I bought last fall and that I am now parting out. The other 5 pistons are for sale.

POST 2Original post

That’ll buff right out… All kidding aside, cool clock!

POST 3Original post

Very cool and love salvaging retired parts! Based on orientation assume bank 1 - cyl 1, 2, or 3? Few years back I made garage/workshop clocks as gifts for 3 friends and myself... Recently saw a 991.1 GT3 "aerated" block full motor morphed into a very pricey coffee table. Nicely done
