I have an 82 911 SC (engine and suspension upgrades for track performance). It has 17" rims off 98 Carrera S (donated to me). I'm looking for autocross/HOD track day tires . I've been running Firehawk 500s (too hard but really last) but looking at Toyo Proxes R888R. The problem is few brands have a size that fits the 17". They do not need to be street compatible.
